If you're considering having your own, or your tenants', appliances checked for safety, we offer portable appliance testing throughout London.

The Electricity At Work Regulations 1989 state "every employer shall ensure, that work equipment is maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair."

Portable appliance testing

Under current regulations, there is no specific time frame that appliances should be checked, though there are recommendations based on the type of equipment being used ranging from once every 3 to 48 months.

Good practice dictates that the more you use an appliance - the more regularly it should be tested.
